CTCP Plate Structure

CTCP plates generally use aluminum base plates that undergo special treatment to provide excellent printing performance and exposure characteristics. Below are the main material structures and features of the CTCP plate:

1. Aluminum Base Layer

Material: High-purity aluminum alloys, including 1050, 1060, 1070, etc.

Characteristics: Excellent mechanical strength and durability, capable of withstanding high-speed printing and prolonged printing life.

Function: Provides stable support and pressure resistance.

2. Surface Oxide Layer (Anodizing Treatment)

Characteristics: Anodizing forms a dense aluminum oxide layer that enhances corrosion resistance and hydrophilicity.

Function: Improves printing durability and prevents oxidation and wear of the plate during printing.

3. Photosensitive Coating

Material: Typically UV laser-sensitive resin with a main photosensitive wavelength of around 400 nm.

Function: Forms graphic areas after exposure, with non-exposed parts removed during development.

4. Protective Layer (Available on High-End CTCP Plates)
