0.15mm Aluminum PS Plate Supplier

A PS plate is a type of printing plate made from high-purity aluminum as the base material, with a uniformly coated photosensitive layer on the surface after electrochemical treatment. Through processes such as exposure and development, the photosensitive coating forms oleophilic image areas and hydrophilic non-image areas, enabling the transfer of ink required for printing.

The 0.15mm thick aluminum PS plate is a lightweight plate specification, typically made from 1050, 1060, or 1070 series aluminum alloys with a purity of ≥99.3%. Processed in the H18 (hard) temper, this thickness ensures mechanical strength while reducing costs, making it suitable for medium-to-short and some medium-to-long printing runs.

Production Process of PS Printing Plates

1. Aluminum Selection and Cleaning
High-purity aluminum sheets with a clean, defect-free surface are chosen, then undergo alkali and acid cleaning to remove oxides and oils.

2. Electrochemical Roughening
An AC/DC alternating electrochemical roughening technique is applied, forming a uniform and fine micro-porous structure to improve coating adhesion and development performance.

3. Anodizing Treatment
The aluminum substrate undergoes anodization, creating a dense oxide layer on the surface that enhances corrosion resistance and hydrophilicity.

4. Photosensitive Coating Application
A high-speed automated coating machine applies a uniform photosensitive layer (typically diazo resin or UV-sensitive material) with micron-level thickness control.

5. Drying and Inspection
The plates are dried at a constant temperature and tested for photosensitivity uniformity, surface tension, and wear resistance to ensure stable quality before leaving the factory.
